Thank you so much to all the parents who were able to attend our Year One assembly on Tuesday. We hope you enjoyed it, as much as we enjoyed performing to you! I am sure you will agree, that all of the children have made amazing progress this year and their confidence was clear to see. 1C had great fun creating their dance medley and it helped us to remember all of the fun things we have learnt about throughout the year. Please enjoy this video of our dance, for you to watch again and again!
After learning about Kandinsky, Monet, Van Gogh and Matisse, we had some fantastic performances this week as the boys spoke to the rest of the class about a their chosen artist. Lots of hard work had gone into creating some super presentations – well done everyone.
We thoroughly enjoyed a performance by the Villiers Quartet. It was super to see some children from the junior and infant school playing with them.
This week we have been learning about Monet and even created our own pictures of Monet’s Water Lilly Pond.
On Tuesday we had a fantastic afternoon at Sports Day. Thank you to all the parents who came to cheer us on and supported us.
Yesterday we had great fun in PE practising our ball skills as you can see from the pictures below!
The children have settled into the first week back very well and have been extremely busy. Thank you to everyone for supporting the children in the making of their mini gardens – they all look super as you can see below.
