1C’s Dance Medley!

Thank you so much to all the parents who were able to attend our Year One assembly on Tuesday.  We hope you enjoyed it, as much as we enjoyed performing to you!  I am sure you will agree, that all of the children have made amazing progress this year and their confidence was clear to see.  1C had great fun creating their dance medley and it helped us to remember all of the fun things we have learnt about throughout the year.  Please enjoy this video of our dance, for you to watch again and again!

After learning about Kandinsky, Monet, Van Gogh and Matisse, we had some fantastic performances this week as the boys spoke to the rest of the class  about a their chosen artist. Lots of hard work had gone into creating some super presentations – well done everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed a performance by  the Villiers Quartet.  It was super to see some children from the junior and infant school playing with them.

Butterflies and balancing

There has been great excitement in 1C this week as our lovely caterpillars have turned into beautiful butterflies. We have loved watching all the changes taking place.

We have completed our work on balancing in gymnastics. Look at how we can work together and match our movements.
